My mindfulness talk, 'Stop to Restart,' on confidence, resilience, and enhancing decision-making in everyday life will launch in November 2024. As a certified Mindfulness practitioner, I am truly passionate about nurturing confidence in both children/teens and adults. I will provide a very brief overview of my 25 years of experience across various industries, highlighting how I navigated through incredibly stressful and challenging situations. The talk focuses on a life time lesson I was taught in an A' Level Psychology lesson many many years ago, a skill that has remained with me all my life and basis for 'Stop to Restart.'
The aim of the discussion will be on effective strategies for managing difficult circumstances and how individuals can enhance the outcome of challenging situations using the Mindfulness STOP technique. Additionally, I will address topics such as panic and anxiety attacks, the pursuit of true happiness, the significance of friendships, and equip attendees with skills to make more informed decisions.
This talk promises to be both uplifting and enlightening. Inspired by my children, ages 22 and 18, who encouraged me to share my skills with others, I am excited to embark on this journey. Had they not felt so strongly I share this message, I may never have taken this path.
The talk is expected to last around 30 to 40 minutes. It is designed to be concise, allowing attendees to grasp the key messages without being overwhelmed by excessive information.
